CV-600BD: Hard Act To Follow

The prolific material testing arm of the Bowers Metrology Group, CV Instruments has announced the launch of its advanced new, hardness bench-tester; the Digital Rockwell CV-600BD. Providing users with a large working space to help accommodate bulky specimens, the tough new CV tester has been designed to achieve consistent, accurate test results in the harshest of industrial conditions or within companies' metallurgy departments.

Conforming to EN-ISO 6508 and ASTM E-18, the flexible CV-600BD is able to operate in all common, standard Rockwell scales, such as A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H and K. It has a resolution 0.5 of a Rockwell unit and a choice of test loads of - 10kgf preload, 60, 100 and 150kgf total load. The unit's many useful features are accessed via a user-friendly menu, whilst measured results are presented on a bright, easy to read LCD display.

The most comprehensive digital Rockwell tester within its price bracket, the CV-600BD is delivered complete with a wide-range of accessories, including a choice of indentors, anvils and test-blocks.
