Bowers Gauges Make Measurement Matter

The Bowers MicroGaugeIn addition to demonstrating the company’s existing ranges of high-quality analogue and digital bore gauges, Bowers Metrology will be giving a UK exhibition debut to its advanced new MicroGauge at the GTMA Make Measurement Matter Roadshow. The ingenious, 2-point MicroGauge bore-gauging system features a completely new integral digital readout, and has been designed specifically for the accurate diameter measurement of bores from 1.0 mm - 6.0 mm.

Also being demonstrated will be an advanced range of ‘shop floor proof’ Digital Micrometers with blade anvils. The innovative Sylvac Micrometers are able to measure from 0 up to 102mm with the use of only 3 instruments. Available with measuring capacities of 0-30mm, 30-66mm, 66-102mm, through the use of Smart Inductive Sensor (S.I.S) technology, the ingenious new S_Mike Pro micrometer range boasts an impressive 0.001mm accuracy specification.

Continuing the ‘shop floor proof’ theme, Bowers will be exhibiting the IP67 rated Sylvac S_Dial ONE range. The digital indicators are designed to operate within harsh measuring environments, such as in close proximity to machine tools. Available with measuring capacities of 12.5mm and 25mm, multi functional and fully programmable including coloured tolerance indicators incorporated within the display.

To help satisfy the growing demand for material testing, Bowers will also be exhibiting the advanced new, CV-HV400 portable Vickers Hardness Tester. Using the Ultrasonic impedance test principle, the new ‘Ultramatic’ durable tester provides both accuracy and reliability at an extremely affordable price.  Reading in Vickers HV, with direct conversions to HRC, HRB, HB, and UTS, the flexible new unit is suitable for hardness tests on numerous materials including metals, plastics and ceramics.  The tester conforms to DIN 50159, ASTM A 1038-05 and VDI/VDE directive 2616
