New Bowers Gauge Comes Full Circle

Prompted by strong customer demand, Bowers Metrology has designed a specialised circular version of their popular Universal Gauge. Bowers ingenious new gauge enables the accurate diameter measurement of components such as large shafts, turbine components, jet engine features and many other parts containing obstructions such as bosses etc.

The unique modular construction of Bowers’ Circular Universal Gauge facilitates the fitting of a large variety of measuring contacts and adaptors, enabling countless measuring tasks to be completed with ease. Accessories enabling the measurement of threads, grooves and many other previously difficult to measure features are available as standard, whilst special adaptations for more unusual gauging applications are available on request. 

Bowers Universal Gauge can be configured to measure either internally or externally, whilst the new gauge’s clever constant pressure device ensures great accuracy and consistency of reading. The new gauge’s readings are displayed on a large format, easy to read digital display and if required can be downloaded via the unit’s built-in RS232 output.
