UK Agents for the famous Sylvac range of electronic measuring instruments, Bowers Metrology have announced the long awaited launch of the Sylvac Hi-Cal range of Height Gauges. Based on the Company’s extremely popular Z-Cal series, the new, higher specification Sylvac instruments, boast an improved accuracy of 2.5+L/175mm. Though the use of Sylvac’s patented inductive measuring electronics and a state of the art motorised probing system, the advanced new range achieves class-leading repeatability and speed of use.

Available initially in 150mm and 300mm capacities, the cost-effective new Hi-Cal Height Gauges boast a large digital display, a low measuring force and intuitive, easy to use functions. Claimed to be equally at home within a temperature controlled inspection department or on a busy a shop-floor, the robust new Sylvac Height Gauges are able to execute a multitude of measuring tasks including – step heights, internal/external diameters and centre-line distances. If required, all measured data can be easily downloaded via the new gauges RS 232 output.
