Oil Industry Connector Software from Bowers

Bowers Metrology, the UK agents for Gagemaker, the world’s largest provider of Oil Industry Gauges, has recently announced the launch of Gagemaker’s long awaited TDWIN TAPER Software.

Claimed by Bowers to provide the user with all of the necessary details to machine, inspect and document tubular connection threads in one all encompassing, convenient program. Gagemaker’s TDWIN TAPER software has been specifically designed to simplify the API specifications that controls connection quality.

Based on the most current industry standards, the new, easy to use software produces precise dimensional drawings and comprehensive inspection data for API down-hole tubular connectors.

The flexible new software gives easy access to information for both preferred and non-preferred Rotary Shouldered Connections, Tubing and Casing Connections, and any combination of the above. Offering standard connection types and sizes, the comprehensive program also displays connection drawings, whilst it gives inspection gauge information, plus setup and inspection reports.

Adhering to ASME Y14.5 standards for industry compatibility, the powerful Gagemaker software displays printable drawings suitable for manufacturing use. The generated drawings, print gauge setup and inspection reports can be adapted to display company logos and useful work order information, whilst the software offers the user the option of saving produced reports and job information for future reference.
